Facial Specialist Program

This comprehensive facial specialist program will prepare students with an extensive understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the skin as well as providing students with the techniques to provide safe and effective skin care treatments. Students will be taught to recognize skin dysfunctions and be equipped to treat common skin issues like acne or melasma while understanding when to refer client to their medical provider.
Class lessons are structured with a good balance of classroom and lab hours with focus on professionalism and cleanliness in both settings. Instruction topics include make up artistry, hair removal, product chemistry, sanitation, electrotherapy, lash and brow tinting and lash application. The program allows adequate time to practice manual skills and techniques on an array of clientele in order to perfect skills and be confident to enter the workforce.
• Student will be able to identify career opportunities available in the facial specialist field of practice
• Students will maintain safety in both personal and work environments while abiding by the rules and regulations of management in the job place.
• Student will demonstrate sanitary, safe and appropriate practices while performing skin care services on clients. Students will further practice skin care in a professional manner with clear communication within their scope of practice.
• Student will gain a good understanding of skin anatomy and physiology as well as skin care treatment techniques to appropriately provide clients with effective and safe skin care treatments.
• Student able to explain the importance of employability skills as well as demonstrate skills in entrepreneurship
• Student demonstrates leadership as well as teamwork skills in order to accomplish team goals and objectives
• Student verbalizes future business plan regarding money management concepts, procedures and strategies upon completion of program
• Student demonstrates ethical behavior and professionalism with colleagues in the classroom and clients in the treatment spaces
• Student demonstrates ability to use technology to help productivity in the work place
• Student demonstrates critical thinking skills to problem solve when presented with a dilemma
• Student demonstrates professionalism and effectiveness with both oral and written communication
• Student demonstrates confidence, appropriateness, and effectiveness while performing facials, massage techniques, make up application, hair removal, and artificial lash application.
• Student will demonstrate appropriate procedures and safe applications of chemicals when applied.

Facial specialists in the U.S. earn an average salary between $35,000 to $50,000 annually, depending on experience and location. Join us to learn advanced techniques and gain the expertise needed to enhance clients’ skin health and confidence.
All applicants must be above the compulsory age of school attendance, sixteen (16) years old. Any applicant who is under eighteen (18) years of age must have a parent or guardian with them when applying for admission. If the applicant is under 18 years of age, a form of identification will also be required from the parent or guardian. Applicants must provide photo identification.
The school admits as students those who have a valid High School Diploma or GED.  If the students High School Diploma is in a foreign language it is the responsibility of the student to get the diploma translated into English by a school approved translator. At the school’s discretion, official transcripts may be requested and evaluated by the director prior to enrollment of the student. If the information cannot be adequately verified, the student will be required, at their expense, to take and pass a GED test prior to enrollment.
Any applicants that do not meet the above-mentioned requirements shall be denied admission. A letter explaining the reason(s) will be given to the applicant upon request and a copy kept on file at the school for at least one year.
